Mr. Halbreich was named Chairman and Interim Chief Executive Officer for Sun-Times Media Group, Inc. in 2009, bringing extensive industry experience to the firm. He is the former President and General Manager of The Dallas Morning News, where he spent 24 years working in multiple management positions. He founded American Consolidated Media (ACM) in 1998, which he developed into one of the largest community newspaper groups in the U.S., with more than 100 community newspapers nationwide. Mr. Halbreich sold ACM in 2007 to an Australian media group and then founded Amercomm, LLC, a media management and investment holding company, where he serves as Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer. Additionally, Mr. Halbreich is on the Board of Directors at LibreDigital, Victoria Enterprises and American Community Newspapers. He also is a past Chairman, President and a current Trustee for the Dallas Museum of Art. Mr. Halbreich is a graduate of Harvard College and the Harvard Business School's Advanced Management Program.
Robert A. Schmitz

Mr. Schmitz is a partner at Quest Turnaround Advisors, a restructuring firm. He has led turnarounds at PTV Inc., Cablecom, and the Spectran Corporation. As a former Managing Director of Trust Company of the West (TCW), he was responsible for all media-related investments, including multiple community newspaper groups. Mr. Schmitz is a former partner at the management consulting firm, McKinsey & Co., where he advised Dow Jones on its reorganization of the Wall Street Journal. He later joined the Dow Jones Management Committee to oversee various publishing divisions. Mr. Schmitz is a graduate of the University of Michigan and the Sloan School of Management at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
Michael E. Katzenstein

Mr. Katzenstein is a Senior Managing Director at FTI Consulting Inc., a global business advisory firm specializing in complex business challenges including mergers & acquisitions, litigation, regulatory issues and corporate restructuring. Prior to joining FTI, he was a founding partner and principal of CXO, L.L.C., a restructuring and turnaround management firm, acquired by FTI in December 2008. Mr. Katzenstein has held multiple senior management roles, including Chief Restructuring Officer, for various corporate turnarounds including the predecessor of One Communications Corp., Pacific Crossing Limited, Pac-West Telecomm, and VarTec Telecom. Additionally, he has served as a strategic advisor to numerous companies and investor groups across the media, technology and telecommunications industries. He currently serves as Chairman of the board of directors of RCN Corporation, a United States public reporting company. Mr. Katzenstein is a graduate of the State University of New York at Binghamton, and the Boston University School of Law.
Robert B. Poile

Mr. Poile is Lead Portfolio Strategist for Polar Securities, Inc., a Canadian hedge fund advisor and a significant shareholder of STMG. Prior to joining Polar, Mr. Poile co-founded Trident Advisors, a distressed asset and private equity firm based in Toronto, where he served as President. In that capacity, he acted as Chairman, Director or officer for various entities including Dylex Limited, Repap Enterprises Inc., Spar Aerospace, Call-Net Enterprises Inc. and Clublink Corp. Additionally, he became President and CEO of Clublink, an operator and developer of golf courses, resigning in 2007 upon the sale of the investment. He began his career with Chase Manhattan Bank as a credit analyst before moving into corporate lending and investment banking, where he later worked at Burns Fry Ltd. and then Paloma Partners. Additionally, Mr. Poile is a trustee of the Board for Cinram International Income Fund, a manufacturer and distributor DVDs and CDs to the music, publishing and computer software industries. He is a graduate of Harvard University.
Graham W. Savage

Mr. Savage served for 21 years, including seven years as the Chief Financial Officer, at Rogers Communications Inc., a major Toronto-based media and communications company. Mr. Savage currently serves as Chairman of Callisto Capital LP, a merchant banking firm based in Toronto, and as a director and chairman of the audit committee of Canadian Tire Corporation, Limited, a Canadian public reporting company. He is also a director and the chairman of the audit committee of Cott Corporation, a United States public reporting company.
